I am absolutely sold on the benefits of using bamboo products. The beauty and durability are remarkable, not to mention being eco-friendly.

What a really great investment it was for having such initiatives on how to manage oil spills all over the Globe. Aside from being able to recycle disposed hair from salon's and hair shops we can also be able to save our environment and save lives. It was really a noble pursuit for the person who was able to search and discover this new ways on managing one of the world problem. Hope many will help you with creating more hair mats to help many countries around the globe who has the same dilemma.

Deb

This is fascinating.

Just heard George Friedman,CEO of Stratfor.com endorse this approach on TVO.org/theagenda with Steve Paikan THIS week.

I want to figure out a way to get involved with this.

Thanks for the nice shout-out for GlobalGiving. I wanted to add that we still have some matching funds available as part of our "Give a Little Green" campaign - so donations to our projects helping address climate change (which you can see at http://www.globalgiving.com/green/) are being matched 50%, increasing your impact - so it's a good time to give!

Happy Earth Day.
