Support farm animal protection with a cool Valentine’s Day gift

Farm Sanctuary logoThere’s plenty in the news about the abysmal treatment of farm animals, as well as gag order legislation to stop whistleblowers who try to reveal these tragic situations to the public. Among al this stand a great organization called Farm Sanctuary which stands as a safe haven to rescued and abused farm animals of all kinds.

To help further their efforts to protect abused and neglected farm animals, Farm Sanctuary encourages you to “adopt” a real life cuddly animal for your sweetheart this Valentine’s Day. Sponsor a rescued animal that’s in their care. A farm animal sponsorship is a great way to show how much you care for animals. It’s a gift from the heart that gives throughout the year.

Sponsor one of these couples or an individual rescued animal from Farm Sanctuary this Valentine’s Day

I had the opportunity to visit the California Sanctuary several years ago. There are 2 sites actually – there’s also one in upstate New York. Seeing these formerly abused and neglected animals now happy and content was remarkable. To be able to get up close and personal with them was even more awesome. If you haven’t had the chance to do this, it’s a special treat that will warm your heart. It’s the perfect experience to share as a family or with friends.

This Valentine’s Day, do something really special and unique for your sweetheart. Sponsor a pair or animals or sponsor one of them individually. Or make a one-time Valentine’s Day gift for all of the sanctuary animals. It’s easy to do and you know it will make a big difference.
