As the effects of climate change make themselves irrefutably present, Nature and especially its wild animals are being deeply impacted. And the relationship between humans and Nature is being sorely tested.
Tonight, PBS launches a new series, Earth:A New Wild, that shows how that relationship is evolving. Filmed by a team that traveled to 29 countries across four continents, the show’s hope is that if we humans understand that we can save Nature, we’ll all live better. The show delves into the interconnection between people and nature and the importance of our recognizing this and acting accordingly.
Hosted by Dr. M. Sanjayan, Executive Vice President and Senior Scientist with Conservation International, catch this fascinating series with Episode 1 – a look at humankind’s relationship with the wildest places on Earth – on your local PBS station at 9pm / 8pm Central. It promises to be worth the watch.
